Are Pawed Portraits actually hand painted?

Yes! Although they are not painted on the actual canvas, they are hand painted/drawn in a digital painting, computer software program on 24" graphic drawing monitors. By zooming in on one of our paintings you can see individual brush strokes. Everything thing you see in the portrait of the pet is created by hand, one stroke at a time.

How are the paintings placed on a canvas?

Once the painting is completed, it is saved in a format similar to that of a digital camera photo. The same way a high resolution camera photo can be developed and printed on photo stock our high resolution paintings can be printed on canvas.

How long does it take to receive my painting?

Once we receive your order, you can expect your painting to arrive within 3-4 weeks.
